i'm just guestimating on the gains from a smaller pulley. my approximation is based on how restrictive the stock intake/exhaust probably is; hence the reason that the upgraded intake/exhaust would free up that much more power. as far as the drivetrain changes, those are just suggestions to free up more power and to reduce drivetrain loss, nothing to do with how strong the stock parts are.

Yes, I have several cars and a house all covered by State Farm...and I'm nearly 30, married, clean record, etc... Before I got married my rate on the WRX alone (no other cars, no house, etc..) was $68/month. For some reason State Farm thinks that the WRX is no different than the Impreza and classifies it as a mid-size family sedan  Not that I'm complaining.

Yup... 4 cyl. Under the Hood The 1.8-liter VVT-i (variable valve timing with intelligence) four-cylinder engine in the Celica GT develops 140 hp. A 1.8-liter dual-overhead-cam four-cylinder with a different design and VVTL-i technology goes into the sportier GT-S edition, which churns out 180 hp at 7,600 rpm. The GT has a standard five-speed-manual gearbox, and the GT-S manual has six speeds. A four-speed-automatic transmission is optional for both models, but the one in the GT-S offers manual gear selection using four buttons on the steering wheel. While the GT engine runs on regular gasoline, the GT-S requires premium fuel at the pump. So, guess there was no "battle of v6's" so thread done.

For carbs you could maybe get by jetting way richer; for EFI you would need bigger injectors, higher fuel pressure, and/or a new fuel map. I'm pretty sure the stock O2 sensor wouldn't compensate enough by itself. The stoich A/F ratio for E85 is about 10:1 while gas is 14.7:1. So even though E85 is quite a bit cheaper, you're gonna get worse mileage with the E85 (maybe around 30% less mpg). There aren't many E85 dealers around here. There are a few places in MN now, but not many in ND. It might catch on in the future though with this whole Iraq deal. The E85 prices should stay more stable than gasoline because it's made mostly from domestic corn, not imported oil.

Only because of rich oil workers. Yes i know none of them cruise around it is a hih school thing. That is what everyone does because there is nothing really else to do. I have a hella lot of relatives there who have such cars. And for the Saturn, it was like gold in color, the guy paid way to much for it, I think he paid like 9 grand for it. it was outragous. Yeah now that you mention it, there is a gold one with a fartpipe too. Thing about all the oil workers is they have all the cash and the projects, but dont have time to finish them. Exactly why I dont get into that crap.

i'd rather have the CTS-V with the ls6 in it. that will haul ass, it's got like 400 hp. and with all the aftermarket parts you can pump it to 500 easy.
