OK OK!!! Dates are in!! Just to give everyone a little more time for this I am flying Doug in on June 20th-June 22nd. Friday-Sunday! I am not sure 100% on what time he is flying in on Friday, we might do a couple tunes Friday night, then all day Saturday, and half day Sunday. I don't know any HP's, but my contacts with the FPD agree that an officer scratching your tint sounds absolutely ridiculous. You have the option of taking the tint off, or not. If you want to keep driving around w/the tint and racking up citations, that's up to you. In fact, the PD would probably appreciate the extra money. But physically altering your vehicle for what basically amounts to a non-criminal equipment violation is absurd. The only time I've ever seen an officer alter something legally on a vehicle is when the equipment is used for evidence such as a license plate (fictitous registration). Good luck with what you decide to do and keep us posted.
