The Rest doesn't it all looks clean and new. It kinda looks like the machine shop installed everything and lightly oiled it all, and then he put the new pil pickup on and the baffle and pan and didn't put any oil on it to keep it from rusting. The Motor was kept upside down w/o a head or an oil drain plug.

Well if it's just the pickup tube that looks like that I would try to clean it up really good and see what it looks like. If it doesn't look good after cleaning it I would just buy a new one.

It looks good to go, just put it together and run it............... if you want to waste your time and money yanking it and having to rebuild it again. You should really have the whole thing disassembled and cleaned, then have the machine shop measure EVERYTHING before it goes back together to make sure it's all been done properly. Do it right or do it twice.
