Raider, you like the powerband of the procharger? doesn't that leave the torque curve fairly high? (5000# truck, I'd expect the lower the torque curve the better)
(and figure you'd know this....what years did they run the blown 5.4 in the Harley trucks. [they did didn't they? thinking it was a slightly detuned version of the L plant] or was that a concept that never happened? Haven't followed the Harley trucks at all.)
but anyway, can we get a spell checker on this board for Nova?

i dont tihnk they ever put a blown 5.4 in the Harley's but i know they made some that were just barelyt slower than the Chevy SS.

the harley had a different pulley on them and they first came out with the s/c in 2002...you can make a Harley Supercrew run in the low 13's with just a pulley change..my tq doesnt peek at low rpms like the roots and screw s/c...the procharger tg is more of a steady flat line so you have good tq across the rpm range

I know the guy with the gtp, it's got a differnent exhaust and sounds mean, but his u bend is still in place so he's probibly getting kr. He also has a smaller pulley too probibly adding more kr. With an intake and downpipe he should be able to hit high 13's. He's probibly in the 15's tho b/c he lost to my brother's prelude. Gtps can be built up pretty nicely. Btw, my brother has the 98 prelude sh and said he's talked to you along with spoolude and you're alright.

raider you seem to know a little about ecu's. Could the ecu in my 94 SHO be the reason that it shifts hard into second gear? it has done this for 58K miles and has not ruined the tranny but it sounds awful, i don t think its mechanical prob cause then it would do it all the time, it only does it some of the time, and wont do it if it is really cold. Sorry Nova, didn't mean to jack your thread.
