The Rack and Tranny issues are usually backed up with the defense of not changing the fluid enough. We recommend flushing transmission fluids every 30K and 24K for PS systems. Suspension parts are always wear and tear unless they discover a problem (ball joints on Durango/Dakotas, Steering knuckles on Durangos.

I'm a full time night shift industrial mechanic/automation technition. I graduate from MSCTC in December. Probibily going to MSU after that for Operations Management. Maybe some day I'll go back into engineering if I ever get motivated enough?

Well some of it is just stupid stuff that probably wouldn't get covered anyways BUT ...since the first year she had it the brakes have been noisey as hell, especially in winter. No amount of lube or anything on our part has helped and every time we take it in they say there is nothing wrong or rubbing or anything. The struts are bad, the motors in the doors have broken twice now, we got one fixed under warranty and now it's really flakey again. The rear door doesn't work all the time, the locks don't always work right from the inside, the clock spring for the airbags broke at least 5 times in the first 3 years we owned it (all were covered under warranty though). I dunno, various things, some of which I can't remember right now.
