HID snowmobile headlight

so i was going to try and sell my H1 HID headlight kit but i am thinking that for christmas im going to try and put them on me and my dads snowmobiles. ( with all attention being paid to glare to make sure its still safe for others).

now i think that it should be pretty easy especially with the H1 kit being just 2 male connectors. but i dont know. while it work? is there anything im not paying attention to that would make this not work or damage something?

i was wondering since the normal lights are really dim at idle but get brighter when youre riding if that would maybe not be enough power?

HID's actually require less constant power i believe...it shouldnt be a problem.....i'd worry about the headlight housing melting before anything...

The bulbs in sleds were designed to run warm and melt snow, something you shouldn't have a problem with this year!

A good start would be to find out how much current the stock bulb draws and how much the HID draws. I'm assuming that the snowmobile has a 12 volt electrical system also?
