^BTW, who are you(BSBMODZ), after the name change?
First off, why do you want to do the 5-lug swap? You can get it from a sponser on most of the 240 sites.
Second, the SR swap is pretty easy. You send the harness (KA and SR) pay $100 and they do all the rewiring for you. You would need to put the motor in and the only other major issue is the radiator, which I would suggest buying a Koyo race radiator right away, and buy houses from a dealer that can get them. Also I suggest finding a front clip, then you know you well get all the parts, also you well more then likely get a better motor because it can be tested. Also buy from a sponser on 240 site or another highly recommened source.
There are full right ups on how to do it. I dont have them bookmarked anymore.
If the car is a 89 or 90, it make a large differance, and more stuff needs to be swapped.
I have a 240 for sale also.

Josh why would you want to resort to a Jeremy car. I thought you were better than that. His 240sx's have had sr's in them. Also, the one he would sell that doesnt have a SR in it I would not even buy. The one in rapid is in tough shape also and is over priced. Unless there is other cars for sale. I have a good priced one for sale.

I have a white one you can have.
It needs everything, though.
Oh, and for more info, go to these websites and SEARCH before anything else:

www.zilvia.net <-- My personal preferance for tech info
www.freshalloy.comThose are usually the best when it comes to having unbiased opinions on motorswaps.

GaryBut that wieght comparission was done with an auto, those way a shit ton more then the KA 5-speed. but still lighter. I was going to do that swap in my car.

since its a 90, you will have to rewire some stuff under the dash to get the cluster to work, you will need 91+ S13 Power streering system, I dont remember about the wiring, you will also loose the ablilty to use a consult tool, you will also need a DOHC throttle cable, gaugecluster. the clip doesnt come with all of that stuff becuase it is RHD and stuff is differant, but it will make sure you get all the stuff for the SR swap. And I know I am forgeting something.
Research the swap on the 240 forums, there are multiple right ups.

i have parts car that you can harvest off of for a price

I just sold all the parts you would need for the SOHC to DOHC swap. and I mean everything. LOL.
BTW for the parts just for that swap(SOHC to DOHC), you would spend around $400, on top of the sr swap, some stuff from a clip can be used, but that depends on if you want have a KPH speedo... also its not easy to keep AC when doing the SOHC to DOHC swap, unless you have a complete system from a DOHC car, stuff from clip wont work LHD, VS. RHD.
As for the wiring, under the dash is easy. its not really wiring if you know what you have to do.
Also, is the car a 5-speed?

me and a buddy of mine are thinking of doin the swap on his 90 240sx and we were wondering the same thing of how hard it would be
