        From what i have read on honda-tech is that they have yet to ran it with that setup and i bet with that much hp it spins all the way down the track. it was just in some mag to.. but heres a link about the car http://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1047952

          This is just my opinion, but there is no reason besides bad driving that would stop that car from running in the 10's. I understand that there is a lot of power on tap, but an active electronic boost controller and a throttle lift & stomp when required should net some 10.80's in the 130's no problem. In his signature (OaksRacing) lists a 1.79 60 ft time. He also lists an 11.3 @ 136. If he could put those two runs together there is his elusive 10. :shrugs:

                788hp and fwd should be high 9s, look at gary marsh, lisa kubo, etc... absolute moron driver, as bad as the turbo k20 making more than 400hp that was in hci or import tuner (one of those magazines) a couple months ago

                      Plus he's driving a pig-assed prelude weighing in at 2800 lbs. If he was in a EF or EG he could shave of almost another half second...theoretically of course.

                            i think it would be hard to get very good times due to there isnt much of a high performce aftermarket the preludes.most just go with a civic..and a prelude isnt that heavy what dose a 1st gen eclipse weigh 3000lbs? and with that said how many preludes do u hear of pulling lots of hp? and just wondering what size slicks dose dave use? and how much hp dose he have?

                              dave has around 600+whp...they weigh about 2900lbs for the awd model

                                that's because most people put the h22 into a civic or crx, dumping the prelude as too heavy. the only place i've heard of a built prelude is prostreet; they used the 3.2 v6 (if i remember correctly), a tube chassis, rwd conversion, and two turbos... haven't checked on it in a while though.
                                i believe gary marsh was faster with street tires than slicks for a long time, until his team figured out how to not break drivetrain parts when using slicks

                                i just looked closer... over 800bhp and he's still using a fmic? what a fool! he should be using a water/air intercooler
