Hondas are not the only ones with VTEC anymore...

                  Ecotec
                  Duratec
                  VVTi
                  VVL
(+ more, even BMWs have it now)

Since the variable valve patent expired, having many cams is not special anymore.

u can have v-tec with only one cam shaft but its how many lobes that are on that cam shaft. the two on the outside are low RPM lobes and the one in the middle is the high RPM lobe

I think Aceshigh was making a joke, he knows how vtec works. Please don't make him write a 4 page post about how it works.

Spoolude owns him, and the best I have seen spoolude run is a 15.5 in the 1/4.

Not trying to insult anyone but a bud of mine has a full dress 89 firebird w/vortec heads on a 400 that is consistent 13flat in the quarter. That tank weighs 3800 lbs. There aint no trickery in what he did to his car either. Nova, sounds like you need more than just gears. Sounds like a little tuning is in order. Like I said, I'm not trying to piss anyone off so don't take it the wrong way nova. But if you do have vortec's on that puppy, you should be ahellova lot faster than that.

How about a Yugo with a 4g63T and FWD driveline fabbed in? I just think that would be fun......if not hilarious.
