Hey welcome brandon... Boost that bitch... lol Just to let everyone know the way he bought the civic it needed work ... and kind of a lot of it, but we have been workin on it and gettin it back up to a well maintained car... there were quite a few things wrong on it...

well the sideskirts were hangin on by one screw and the tape that was holding most of it was falling off, so those were about to come off, we have to clean the intake manifold... typical idle problem... clutch issue, and supposedly it is new...then the kid who he bought it from lied a bit when he sold it, one he said he ran nos, but said he had 14:1 pistons so it would handle it... which as far as we know they are not 14:1 because that is extremely high, cant find them anywhere online for a b16, and it doesnt idle like it has that high of compression... so now brandon is planning on throwing 9:1 in there and turboing it... the kid also had it stripped, because tintmasters was doing fiberglass work for the interior, but the kid lied and said for $3,000 he would throw the interior in, and tintmasters would install it and all, but tintmasters says that was just materials, so they would not install it, which isnt a problem, but brandon wants it installed professionally... so idk.. there is probly more wrong too...

Interior is easy to put in if you want help let me know, ive done it enough times in EG's cant imagine EK's are to much harder

Actually it has a racing seat and a 5pt. harness, but if he doesnt buy the interior, he is just gonna buy another seat and call it good... I think tomorrow we are gettin into the engine, and gonna see whats up....i am pretty sure he is gonna leave it gutted and i think he is close to determining to turbo... but idk from what we are seeing, we think the whole car was a lot of lies... but whatever...

If he decides to turbo, have him get a hold of me, i have a lot of stuff for doing that, and can help out.

Yah as far as we know the kid says it has a b16a with skunk 2 cams and 14:1 pistons... that thing would be running or idling like a beast wouldnt it? sounds to me that the pistons and cams are a straight up lie... i mean yes it has a b16a, and supposedly its built, but i doubt 14:1....

I highly doubt they are 14:1 pistons, but he should do itb's with real high compression pistons and toda cams. and go mmmmm braaaaaaappp. And get a new dash, clean up all the misc wires all over, some good suspension, build the rest of the motor. and go race.

I've kinda mentoring Brandon into the Honda world. He doesn't know much but is really wanting to get into it and help us out. Acouple of us who knew more about his car spent tonight looking at it and determining what to do. Heres what we know about it (more to be posted tomarrow when we take the engine out)

Cheap? coiloversHis dad went into Tintmasters today to see if he could get some the the interior stuff for him, they wanted $8,000-10,0000 for all of it installed. Thats the fucking worst bullshit in the world. Supposidly they kid Brandon bought it from owes them a bunch of funds.

^^That motor has been to hell and back. I know ogorman ran a lot of nitrous through it.
It wouldnt surprise me if he owed Tintmasters money either. Caleb at Type-R Motorsports(when it was open), kept the car under lock and key every time ogorman didnt pay when he was supposed to. Thats part of the reason it sat there for so long.
