Fargo PD needs to get a clue.
I was in Fargo two weeks ago picking my girlfriend up from a friends at around 2am coming from West Fargo to More-Head. Damn there were cops everywhere. Fargo is ridiculous, I probably saw 8 cops no joke, one way, all parked on the side of the road. I probably saw 15 patrol men total that night on a 20 minute drive, not saying some were not the same possibly patrolling but what they hell, is it really needed in Fargo?

Has anyone noticed lately that there are ALOT more cops out than the norm? I see atleast 5-6 in my 9 hour day at work.

Ya know something? I've been coming up to Fargo on a regular basis for years now and I have NEVER had a single problem. Even with my jellybean which isn't the quietest car around either. And that's without a front plate or side mirrors (both of which are required by law). It really seems to me that some people just ooze "follow me/ pull me over" whether it is because of their car or how they drive. Like was stated earlier... If you didn't do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about. Quit bitchin.

most people that know me and how i drive, wouldn't believe me if i said i haven't been pulled over in at least 5 months without a ticket! (knock on wood) im kinda happy about that!!! and i don't even have a problem with comps following me in my car or my room mate rx7 and then both are quiet cars.

I think they follow cars becasue after 2:00 am 1 in 3 ppl on the road have been drinking... They are doing most ppl a favor for geting drunks off the road..

well yes my point wasnt really bitching about it moreso th fact why do i see more cops on the road then normal cars........ i thought i read somewhere they got 6 new cars atthe station and hired some new people, and yes my other point was as im doing nothing whrong why do cops feel they need to pull a uturn and follow me waiting untill i do...... and not jsut once here 4 time in one 20 minute drive.........

They probably did the U-turns to run your plates and see if there were any hits on the vehicle. The number of sober drivers at that time of night is minimal compared to the number of drivers who are drunk. Be happy they didn't pull you over...I'm not the worlds biggest cop fan but they do serve a purpose and at 3 in the morning it is their job to keep the roads safe. You got checked by multiple cops because they don't sit on the radio and go "I just checked a black mustang with plates XXXYYY and he seemed clean" so as you go through each cops beat you're dealing with a brand new officer who is thinking the exact same thing the first couple were.

Then again, I've never even been followed, much less pulled over.

Me being as lucky as i am, I'm always getting followed out here where i live, Everyday or should i say night when im crusin home from my girl's house 1/2 the time im being followed until i turn down my road and then they leave. Now I have asked one of the local police out here why they do that to cars like mine (japanese sport compact) and they say it's just because they dont like them! I did tell him that i have been being followed and I didnt tell him what my car was (other than it was what they hate) and he says "Oh well, I really can't do anything about it" They simply just dont like my car. I have yet to be pulled over though.
