well yes my point wasnt really bitching about it moreso th fact why do i see more cops on the road then normal cars........ i thought i read somewhere they got 6 new cars atthe station and hired some new people, and yes my other point was as im doing nothing whrong why do cops feel they need to pull a uturn and follow me waiting untill i do...... and not jsut once here 4 time in one 20 minute drive.........

They probably did the U-turns to run your plates and see if there were any hits on the vehicle. The number of sober drivers at that time of night is minimal compared to the number of drivers who are drunk. Be happy they didn't pull you over...I'm not the worlds biggest cop fan but they do serve a purpose and at 3 in the morning it is their job to keep the roads safe. You got checked by multiple cops because they don't sit on the radio and go "I just checked a black mustang with plates XXXYYY and he seemed clean" so as you go through each cops beat you're dealing with a brand new officer who is thinking the exact same thing the first couple were.

Ya know something? I've been coming up to Fargo on a regular basis for years now and I have NEVER had a single problem. Even with my jellybean which isn't the quietest car around either. And that's without a front plate or side mirrors (both of which are required by law). It really seems to me that some people just ooze "follow me/ pull me over" whether it is because of their car or how they drive. Like was stated earlier... If you didn't do anything wrong, you have nothing to worry about. Quit bitchin.Maybe driving a miata does have it's advantages.:icon_sunny:

Then again, I've never even been followed, much less pulled over.

Me being as lucky as i am, I'm always getting followed out here where i live, Everyday or should i say night when im crusin home from my girl's house 1/2 the time im being followed until i turn down my road and then they leave. Now I have asked one of the local police out here why they do that to cars like mine (japanese sport compact) and they say it's just because they dont like them! I did tell him that i have been being followed and I didnt tell him what my car was (other than it was what they hate) and he says "Oh well, I really can't do anything about it" They simply just dont like my car. I have yet to be pulled over though.

Go on a ride along with them. Seriously. It will open your eyes to the bullshit that they have to deal with and it also gives you an insight into what goes through their heads during patrol.the bullshit they have to deal with....... so far in my driving career i have got a 29 in a 25 ticket, a speedcare ticket for going apx 30 in a 25, running a stop sign when i am positive i didnt do it and the cop wouldnt be able to tell because of the locations, and the only legit one of having no mufflers, ok mabey they do deal with shit but they also do shit, there will alwalys be a fight on this topic that is just how it is with very little middle ground so everyone has a right to their opinion even everyone with a good opinion about it

I saw an officer with an obviously bloated cop ego when I did my ride along but I also met SEVERAL who were VERY nice. In fact I was pulled over by one of the nice ones several days later at the stoplights by Concordia because I turned right on a yellow/red with "no right turn on red" (I was trying to beat the light and didn't make it). He ran my license, and let me go...this was at about 1AM too when they "have nothing better to do". If all police could be like this guy or the girl I did the ride along with the world would be a better place.
Unfortunately there are several officers in the area who have bloated cop ego syndrome and their preferred targets are people like us. Sucks for us, but if you are courteous and know your Constitutional rights you will usually be just fine.

Whenever I have gotten pulled over and have been completely honesty and open with the officer I have either gotten warnings or been given a break when I full well had a ticket coming.

I was not in the least bit cocky, arrogant, or rude and showed nothing but respect through the entire ordeal. Some police officers are just straight up assholes.

He still wasted 10 minutes of my time and doesn't deserve to be a cop.
