My car was parked in front of my condo the night of the theft. Apparently, a kid named Travid Hudson lives right by me and had scoped out my car prior to the break in and he and Landyn are the ones that stole my shit. Landyn said this Travis Hudson guy is now in Bismark at Job Corps. Does anyone know him or how to get ahold of this guy?

Yes, contact law enforcement...I'm not sure there is a Job Corps center in Bismarck...I know Minot has Burdick Job Corps...could call them or search for them online.

wow, that kid ultimately fucked up his life. I bought my own car with my own money in February and Ive been paying Everything for it, I can assure you guys that I'm not the type of 15 year old kid to go stealing shit from other people.

Hi everyone…this is Landyn’s Mom. I hope it’s ok that I am posting on here…but there are just a few things I’d like to say. First of all…I’d like to thank everyone that had anything to do with Landyn’s situation. I truly mean that…thank you for coming to me and letting me know this was going on. You call Landyn a thief…I don’t blame you…I have called him the same as well. One of you on the Forum named ‘itRfan’ wrote: “CONGRADS! Zac im really happy for you..oh and you too hando im glad you guys got your stuff back. I was that same lil shit back in the day and now i look back at myself and think...damn i was fucking DUMB!!!!” I commend you itRfan for admitting that you too made some dumb mistakes at a young age. Apparently you realized that wasn’t the road you wanted to be on and changed your course. I guess it goes to show that can happen and it gives me hope. I just want all of you to know that even though it appears that Landyn is the biggest low life on this earth…he wasn’t raised this way and I know this isn’t truly the kid he really is. He got hooked up with the wrong guys…two to be exact. One…I knew about and checked out the best way I knew how. I couldn’t find anything bad on him. The other one, Tad…I haven’t ever heard of and didn’t know he existed. I am the parent that calls….that checks…that calls other parents and sees if Landyn is truly there….I am the parent that his friends call a bitch…because I am always checking on him. Well I guess I didn’t check on him enough did I? I went wrong somewhere. I can honestly tell you…out of my four kids…Landyn is the last one I would have believed would do something like this. You won’t be seeing Landyn around anywhere anytime soon. He’s going to be too busy with his jobs…trying to make money so he can pay Zac back everything that was ruined. Tad will be paying back half of it as well….right Tad? By the way…for the person who said Tad isn’t involved….oh trust me…HE IS. I talked to him myself…AND heard him talking to Landyn. I have proof…so proving he is involved isn’t a problem at all. He is threatening Landyn because he thinks Landyn squealed on him, which of course he didn’t. There are a few items that were stolen that I have demanded be returned to me TODAY. They will be given to the owners no matter what I have to do. Tad has a couple of items and so does Travis. If they are brought to me, all is well. If not…that leaves me no choice. If any of you have watched ‘My Name is Earl’….that will give you an idea what Landyn’s life is like right now. Believe me…he is going to pay dearly for what he has done….no car, no phone….NOTHING. I’m not asking any of you to give him a second chance…I wouldn’t do that…I just want you to know that he is genuinely sorry, embarrassed, and ashamed for what he has done. All he can do now is try to regain trust, pay for what he has done, and change his life around. I promise I will do my part to see to it that all is taken care of.

Also…it was my mistake…I said that Travis was in Bismarck. He’s in Minot at Job Corps. I don’t know why I said Bismarck….I guess it was my frame of mind at the time.
Again…thank you to Jason and Zac…you guys are two of the greatest guys ever. Also…the other four of you that were here yesterday…thank you so much for bringing this out and letting me know. Honestly…Landyn is actually grateful you guys came to me…and I am too. You no doubt saved him from a road of destruction that was sure to happen, and he knows it. I will be forever grateful for all you have done. Thanks again.

            Hi Jean,
I just want you to know that all six of us that were at your house yesterday left with a ton of respect for you. I'm sure this whole situation has been extremely difficult for you as a parent. It's obvious that you didn't raise your son to do these sorts of things and I really hope that this whole ordeal leads to a different path for him.
Again, none of us that were there left with anything but the utmost respect for you.
            -Jason

I so appreciate you saying that Jason...I really do. This is one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with. I do know there are worse things...but there hasn't been anything worse than this in my family that we have had to deal with. As a parent, it so hurts my heart to know that a child of mine has hurt others as Landyn has to you guys. I can't explain it...I haven't ever had this feeling before...but it's a hurt I haven't ever experienced. Landyn's step dad gets home tonight and no doubt it will start all over again. But that is just part of it...he is going to get it from every direction. I guarantee he will choose a different path...he already has...it's just going to take time, which is ok, because that is all he has right now. Thanks again...and thanks for letting me have a voice on here. I guess I needed to vent.

Thanks Zac...that means a lot to me right now. As strange as it sounds...Landyn has a lot of respect for you guys. He knows you have helped him out...because if this would have continued, he knows it would have gotten a lot worse. I wish I had answers...WHY...that is the biggest question. But there aren't any answers than stupidity...making the wrong choices, and the wrong friends. ALL will be fixed. Thanks again...I hope we can meet out for a drink some time...I owe you guys one.

                    Jean -

That takes a lot guts to come on here and write that. It speaks a lot of your character. I know that you and your family are good people and that your raised him better than that. Sometimes kids get mixed up in the wrong group of people. You seem to be a great parent and I don't think you did anything wrong. Landyn still has a chance to turn things around and if he tries he can do it.

Thank you for that Chris...you guys have helped me more than you know. I have cried so much over this I don't have any more tears. You are right...he can turn things around. I will help him and do everything I can to make sure of it...but in the end...it's HIS choice. I believe and hope I know him well enough to know he is sincere, and is done with making choices like that. I know I've said thank you a million times...but again...thanks for everything. All of you guys are awesome...and thanks for not bad mouthing me as a parent. I appreciate that more than you know.

I don't think there is a person on here that has done something in their life they wish they wouldn't have. It's part of growing up. What defines the man is when he recognizes the poor decisions, and makes a promise to himself, and those he loves to never take that path again. With parents like you, there is no doubt he will find his way to better things. It's hard as a kid/teenager to have the patience to realize that he will be able to afford these fun things in a few years as long as he works hard. Good luck to him, his mom, and rest of his family. You guys will be just fine.

This will especially happen when surrounding yourself with good people. I've known Blake for 8+ years now and our group of friends has always been supportive of each other and although we may have caused some trouble here and there along the way, we have all pushed each other to succeed. Looking now as we are all in our mid to upper 20s we are all turning out to be very successful in our own careers and personal lives which I don't think would have happened otherwise.

Keep your head up and he will work through this and realize that what he did could have resulted in far worse consequences.

You are exactly right Nick. My other kids picked the right friends...or knew when to get rid of them when they weren't. Landyn hasn't learned this yet I guess...so my hopes are that he will get in with a good group...(he does have some good kids for friends now)...and not get involved with any more low lifes.
