I don't think there is a person on here that has done something in their life they wish they wouldn't have. It's part of growing up. What defines the man is when he recognizes the poor decisions, and makes a promise to himself, and those he loves to never take that path again. With parents like you, there is no doubt he will find his way to better things. It's hard as a kid/teenager to have the patience to realize that he will be able to afford these fun things in a few years as long as he works hard. Good luck to him, his mom, and rest of his family. You guys will be just fine. This will especially happen when surrounding yourself with good people. I've known Blake for 8+ years now and our group of friends has always been supportive of each other and although we may have caused some trouble here and there along the way, we have all pushed each other to succeed. Looking now as we are all in our mid to upper 20s we are all turning out to be very successful in our own careers and personal lives which I don't think would have happened otherwise.
Keep your head up and he will work through this and realize that what he did could have resulted in far worse consequences.

You are exactly right Nick. My other kids picked the right friends...or knew when to get rid of them when they weren't. Landyn hasn't learned this yet I guess...so my hopes are that he will get in with a good group...(he does have some good kids for friends now)...and not get involved with any more low lifes.

Mine can say "Protected by Chuck's mom"I'd have mine say "Protected by Mrs. Karpesh" but I figure with the busy schedule me and the boys have her on...she'd never have time to be in one place long enough to watch a car.....well, maybe the backseat on tuesdays & saturdays....but other than that...

I've seen her mad, but never pissed....

I like that sticker idea. Also I think I overheard a conversation last night between Tad and a friend of mine that the cops came to his house. So more than likely he's currently getting fucked by the long dick of the law. I'm sad to hear that a person I know and have talked to before is responsible for something like this.

Jean, i dont know if your still on here but i heard from everyone else that you quoted my post. I greatly appreciate you for having hope for your son for what i have said. I will be honest with you,it was cuz of my mother that i have changed my ways. I called her at 530 in the morning telling her dont bother comming to get me im in jail, she asked why i said i got caught stealing and at the time she knew i was HEAVY in to marijuana. She was the type that wouldnt say anything but "i dont care its your life, body etc..." Well besides that i didnt ask for her to bail me out and she didnt offer as well. But the thing that changed my life was seeing my mom sitting in the court room crying...That was it since then its been on from there. I have a fiance and baby comming possibly next week! And i couldnt be happier and either can grandma lol. I know there is hope for your son but if he does it again and does get arrested let him be he will learn. I hope you everything works out for you and your family jean.

itrfan is right, i took a similar path as a kid, (not proud) 10 years ago i stole a car stereo got caught and tossed in the klink. my parents wanted to bail me too, i didnt want them too, and they didnt. that is the best thing the could have done, i was in there for 5 days and it sucked!!! but i did my communuity service, paid my restitution, and stayed clean to clear my record, AND, have not been in trouble since. for a lot of kids it is easy to get tangled with the wrong crowd, even with a good family, keep the pressure on him i have faith heel straighten out, especially if he is as regretfull as you say he is. sounds like he has a good concience (however it is spelled lol) :icon_salut: takes a good, and brave mother to come into the forum of people that he took from, and add a post like that! i say too, what an awsome mom he has!!!!
