Question about registering car

So i have a minnesota licenses and my other vehicles are all registered in MN but i want to do my car in ND for cheap vanity plates. I have everything registered to my moms house in MN but i have an apartment in ND. So what im asking is can i register my car in a state that i don't have my license in??

Pretty sure that isn't going to work. Granted, I have never been asked for my ID when registering cars.

I believe its possible, I know someone a while back who had a car registered in another state so they could get away with darker tint

if you are a north dakota resident you should be able to do it. i've never been asked for my id, only my name and address information.

It may be possible. You will be screwed though if you ever get pulled over and show a mn license while your car is registered in nd. I would get a nd license and register all my cars in nd. nd has cheaper insurance rates as well.

I would do that, but i will likely move back to MN in May so there isn't a purpose. I may just ask the DMV or a cop about it.

When I was looking into vanity plates for my car, they're only like $100 in MN and last a few years...
