Window Tint Limitations??

cuz i went into TM a few weeks back and they quoted me something around 250 for sides and back. ive just never considered tinting the front, but now im getting second thoughts. i just envey the cars that i drive by on the street and you look over and i woulnd even be able to tell if they were driving naked for that matter, just really dark. and thats what i want, but w/o the tickets

i think im gonna go 50% in the the driver and passenger windows, then the back three windows at like 5%. i guess thats one way to play it safe.

Bubba: im assuming sarcasm but is that how some cars have it so you cant see shit inside?

I like the tint that's on the lexus but wouldn't mind getting the front windows matched to the rears. Troy if you read this do you happen to know what percentages you have on the car??

I've got 35% all around on mine. The color of car also plays into how dark it looks from the outside. I have never been hassled for tint at all.

my z had 20 all around... was only pulled over 3 times in the almost 3 years i had the car (1 ticket). i believe its 50% for being legal on the front side windows, atleast thats what the cop told me... depends on how dark you want it, 30 would probably be pretty nice all around.

i would not go 5% on the back. My GTO was 5% all around, and it was a fucker to drive at night. No mirrors at all, i had to plan my backup route before i got into the car. go 50% or 35% on the sides and 20% or 10% on the back. 5% is overkill and i think 20% is the best bet.

Thats true I have been pulled over and asked about my tint a couple of times, ummm there is no tint on my car. Boy did those officers turn red.
