Window Tint Limitations??

I like the tint that's on the lexus but wouldn't mind getting the front windows matched to the rears. Troy if you read this do you happen to know what percentages you have on the car??

I've got 35% all around on mine. The color of car also plays into how dark it looks from the outside. I have never been hassled for tint at all.

my z had 20 all around... was only pulled over 3 times in the almost 3 years i had the car (1 ticket). i believe its 50% for being legal on the front side windows, atleast thats what the cop told me... depends on how dark you want it, 30 would probably be pretty nice all around.

i would not go 5% on the back. My GTO was 5% all around, and it was a fucker to drive at night. No mirrors at all, i had to plan my backup route before i got into the car. go 50% or 35% on the sides and 20% or 10% on the back. 5% is overkill and i think 20% is the best bet.

Thats true I have been pulled over and asked about my tint a couple of times, ummm there is no tint on my car. Boy did those officers turn red.

thanks guys, i think im gonna go with 35% on the roll downs and either 5% or 20% in the back.....still unsure about the front window.

I had 20% all the way around on one of my old hatches, and that sometimes was hard to see out of at night, but i only got in trouble for it once and that was when i got pulled over for speeding and forgot to roll the window all the way down.
