12 injector setup

Running straight E98 you really dont need the intercooler. I have watched quite a few cars setup with methanol and ethanol, and on cool days the intake will frost up. This is very common on carbed setups, hell they dont even run cooling systems on methanol cars, thats how cold they run. I personally think you would be better off ditching the IC and its weight and effect on spool. The weight break off the nose would offset any gains i think

I think the IC will help cooling on really hot days at the track and keep the temps down when we run 45+ lbs of boost. -
