I agree so much, that I am doing the "more cylinders" mod.Wasn't there a video posted quite some time ago of some dumb ass saying he was going to do that to his evo and go 300 mph or something like that?

ok... when your done with your lil 4.8 build.... lets line them up.... yours boosted and mine on spray.... we'll see how it goes....fully forged vs stock longblock.......... that is apples to oranges if anything
lol whats the point....... even just 600 wheel in these cars with an auto is a solid 9 second car
the smaller cube LSx's have done that on stock long blocks for sustained periods with out popping
cant we just be friends now?? how about if i change my avatar to something more fitting??

Im pretty sure that everyone knows that all things equal, a larger displacement can make more power......but i really think only the ppl who have something to back it up against the imports should be arguing how much better their V8s are. Just like Imports shouldn't be arguing how much better they are unless they can hold there own.....Just my opinion on the matter.

Tell that to a Ferarri who only uses V8's and V12's. Or Bugatti, Bently, etc. that uses big engines WITH turbos.Hmmm...if I'm not mistaking there's a certain 3.0L I-6 that can put out more power in stock longblock form than all of those cars make...ask Dave, I'm sure he can assist you with what the engine code is.

If someone used a ferrari motor in a drag car, with the time and money daves motor has into It, im sure it could handle just as much power...
BTW, his long block is definitly not stock.Daves car makes power because of power adders, not because of the motor...

Whether his is stock or not, doesn't matter...stock 2jz-gte longblocks have made over 1000hp on several occasions...hell the stock 2jz-ge with a thick hg in stock longblock form can hold 600-650hp (notice i've been saying stock longblock...reading > Joel)
So if daves car makes power bc of "power adders" and not because of the motor, then i should be able to make 1000hp with a d16, afterall, the motor doesn't have anyhting to do with it.:icon_salut:
Also, I'm sure Dave has less $$$ put into his car when it's finished than a new Ferrari costs...
Summary: Everything is the opposite of what you said...it was a good attempt tho

Cant we all just get along!!!

haha, anyways
Torbs, shut up, wow another supra making over 1000 hp. Wooohooo! (Although an impresive accomplishment by the owner). This is what we are talking about when we describe a person who thinks hands down one motor is better than all the others. With nearly any motor the possibilities are endless
Another thing, Fuck supercars.
and last but not least, "YOU CAN ADD APPLES TO ORANGES IF YOUR UNIT OF MEASURE IS FRUIT"

^^what else is there?

It's true.
(I should start a wikipedia page about this so i'd have a reference to point to.)

id still rather have any of the above motors that i posted than any 4cyl honda, but thats just my opinion. and everyone is entitled to their own opinion and it shouldnt really matter wha anyone else thinks about your setup, mainly because its YOUR setup and not theirs.
