I saw a guy doing a wheelie on his bike down 29 this summer, one of the first thing that popped into my mind was that. -

people who are doing very well in lifeReally? I know tons of people that, even if they were making a mil' per minute, would never own that overpriced piece of shit.

Parent's car perhaps? Doesn't mean it was HERS, but who cares?Probably the guy that's dead.
I don't know, it doesn't seem very high-IQish to give a 15-year-old, inexperienced driver a 5,500 pound vehicle.

WOW!! You guys sure are quick at criticizing someone who isn't here anymore to defend himself! From the way the police report sounds, the 15 year old girl, who was driving a vehicle WAY too f***ing big for her in the first place, pulled out in front of him! What?!!? A dissenting opinion? The biker may not have been totally 100% at fault? Fuck that! It's always those crazy, stupid bikers.
He should've been wearing a helmet tho. -1 For that.

Something like this maybe, about 7800 lbs

Just give her your 1300 hp beast. I mean, that's totally an excellent idea.

Or someone you knew?? You sound like horrible people when you say you hope people crash. I can understand if they're doing something unbelievably stupid, but a wheelie?? C'mon! We've all seen people do them I'm sure, and the main person they're putting in danger is themself

Oh yeah, I forgot. It's always the bikers fault! F**k that!! People are so damn stereotypical these days it's disgusting! Yeah, he should have been wearing a helmet, but that was a choice he made. Most people you see riding in town, in fact, don't wear helmets. BUT, because of his choice, there's still no reason people should say he deserved it, and that it was all his fault.

Oh i dont know, maybe cause if I got rear ended by a biker doing wheelies, standing on his bike showing off, and I get injured cause of it...i'd be pretty pissed off, wouldnt you be? Or is it my fault cause Im at the wrong place at the wrong time and I should let the guy who drives wrecklessly in traffic do his thing? -

The fuck does a helmet have to do with decision making, speeding, and wheelies.I dont know if youve ever been down 25th st., especially at 6 oclock at night...but its pretty packed

Who the hell gives their 15-year-old daughter a fucking Escalade?First of all, what does this have to do with anything? Nice try at straying off-topic.
Second, how do you know it was hers? Are you telling me that nobody has driven their parent's vehicles?

But what I was trying to say is that the person they're really putting in danger is them self. Car vs. bike...bike will most likely lose 100% of the time. It sucks that they don't think of anybody but themselves at the time, but there's nothing we can really do about it.

You can't be serious! Just because this time it was a 6000lb SUV doesn't mean that it couldn't be someone on a bike or walking next time! -

It just gets so damn old hearing people bash motorcyclists because some decide to drive like idiots. Do you know how many people don't see bikes coming down the street? Too many. Riders do have to drive defensively because of all of the drivers that decide to not take the time to check their mirrors and look around.
This guy for instance. What if he had never done a wheelie? Would people still be making such a fuss over the issue? Probably not. Whether he was on one wheel or two, the girl pulled out in front of him because she did not look before she pulled out into the road. That, or because she's an inexperienced driver, she couldn't judge how fast he was going and thought she had time to get across the road. I don't know how many times I have seen this happen or have had it done to me. -
I think the bottom line is that EVERYONE needs to be more careful. Obviously, a bike is not going to win if it hits any car, regardless of how much it weighs. If the issue is that she was 15, well she had a driver's license. Maybe they need to up the age to get a license. We all need to watch for motorcycles and motorcyclists need to take their own precautions (which includes a helmet). It's too bad shit like this happens.
