Bump for round two:

DILWORTH – Emergency responders have taken a 55-year-old Glyndon, Minn., man to a Fargo hospital following a motorcycle accident east of here.Patrick Fortier was headed westbound on U.S. Highway 10 at the interchange with Minnesota Highway 336 when he tried to avoid a jug of motor oil that was left on the highway, according to Minnesota State Trooper Jesse Grabow.
Fortier lost control and ran off the road, suffering cuts and scrapes to his head, Grabow said.
The plastic jug of motor oil had been crushed and vehicles traveling the road were transporting leaking oil onto the interchange, Grabow said.
Initial dispatch reports stated that a semi was involved in the accident, but were incorrect. A few semis were in the vicinity when the accident occurred, but were not involved, Grabow said.
Fortier was not wearing a helmet and his condition was not immediately known.
His injuries are not considered life threatening, Grabow said.
A Minnesota Department of Transportation crew will be sent out to clean up the oil

But how about instead of saying it's 100% the bikers fault, how about you biker haters just look at the other side and realize that maybe, JUST MAYBE, a 15 yr old girl with a friend in the car was probably distracted by 1 of many things. Let me list them for you:- Friend
- Stereo
- Cell Phone
- Changing CD
Want me to list more?
Don't get me wrong, I feel a huge majority of this blame is put on the biker, but as in ANY accident, it's not 100% his fault. She is at fault in some sort or another.
There again you are making assumptions on what the girl was doing. Based on the information provided we only know that she was involved in the accident and ran home due to shock after the fact and her dad then brought her back. Anything else is simply an assumption.

Where did I EVER say that he did not see the SUV? I didn't. So you fail.YOUR SO FULL OF FAIL, all youre doing is thinking of random stuff this girl COULD have done but you have waaay less proof against her than for the rider. in fact you have NONE aginast her other than what youre hoping. ur saying its her fault for not seeing a bike but by not commenting on the fact that he didnt see the escalade then shes in the wrong?
Link;236510 wrote:
I'm not blaming her for not judging his rate of speed correctly, I'm saying she should maybe be driving a bit more defensive.she could have been driving like a 40 year old librarian, for all you know (which unlike youre trying to impy is very little). defensive driving cannot prevent an idiot going from the speed limit a good amount of distance away to speeding right up on you on one wheel.
Link;236510 wrote:
Do I think he got what was coming to him? Yes. It was completely unacceptable for what he was doing.then shut the fuck up already

Let me list them for you: .- Friend you dont know what the friend was doing
- Stereo you dont know that it was on
- Cell Phone you dont even know she had one, maybe why she ran home?
- Changing CD a poor assumption you are making, she could have been baking cookies to huh?

She is at fault in some sort or another.dont bring up other accidents, we arent. no one had ANY proof against the girl. this is why they are blaming the biker. you sound like you fancy yourself a pretty smart guy, i would've assumed youd have better debate skills. you use alot of fallacies that force me not to take your comments seriously, cause they make no sense.
there is literally NO evidence against her, but LOTS against him. so please shut up about something you know nothing about.

Lots against him eh?
Lets see..
- He was doing a wheelie
- He was speeding
thats it. 2 things isn't lots. nice try.
if you weren't a retard, you would realize that back on page like 15 i stated that EVERYTHING in this thread is pure assumption. so how about you go on and bitch about every other opinion someone has on here while your at it? Ok cock bag? kk thanx bai!

then why are we on page 32?...

I drive the road every single day. I am well aware of the intersection. He accelerated early and was traveling (by my estimate) 80mph on impact. Bikes can get to those speeds quickly, right? Is it not possible that he was distracted with doing something other than paying attention to the road in front of him (balancing maybe...staring at the speedo perhaps?) and just plain ol' fucked up.I wanna know where you pulled this "80 mph" crap from? Are you just the world's best at eyeballing linear motion from over 400 feet away with buildings blocking half your view? Here's a free physics lession for you:
I'm just estimating an '04 600RR can accelerate 0-60 mi/hr in about 3.2 seconds. So, the distance from 32nd Ave to 30 1/2 Ave is about 300 feet -- give or take a bit.
Using Vf = Vi + at we can solve for his acceleration.
Vf = 60 mi/hr
Vi = 0 mi/hr (he took off from the light at 32nd heading north, as you say)
t = about 3.2 sConverting 60 mi/hr into feet/s we get 88 ft/s --> solving the equation as 27.5 ft/s^2 or 8.382 m/s^2.
Using Vf^2 = Vi^2 +2ad we can solve for his final velocity.
Vf = unknown
Vi = 0 m/s
a = 8.382 m/s^2 from above
d = about 300 feet or 91.44 mSolving the equation and correctly converting we get a final velocity over an estimated 300 feet as 39.15 m/s or 87.576 mi/hr. However, this is ignoring any friction and assuming he's a perfect rider -- not likely.

Yes!!! Good points spanish rice!!!! LINK do us a favor and pleaze shut the fuck up already! What more do you need than 1 he was speeding 2 he was doing a wheelie 3 he caused an accident and someone got killed. Yep the girl was apperently baking cookies when this happened.

In this case, as far as im concerned, it doesnt matter if it was a suv or a f***ing brick wall that was in front of him. It should be his fault! Had he not been driving twice the speed limit or more, wether it be on one wheel or two on a busy street maybe hed have avoided the accident. That being said, it is sad that he lost his life.

I'm not even gonna read through the 10 or so pages I skipped, but here's what we know:
The guy wasn't wearing a helmet and was speeding (according to The Forum), both mistakes he was in control of.
The girl wasn't paying attention. I don't give a shit what anyone does or doesn't say -- if the guy was ripping on his bike it's going to be audible in any car on the road. Unless she had the stereo thumpin' to the max, you're going to hear a sportbike at 10K+ rpm coming at you. Plus, any motorcycle bearing down head on is going to be difficult to see and judge the speed of, just because the front cross-section is so small. It's very difficult to judge the speed of a small object, especially if you're a new driver with any kind of distraction.
So, moral of the story? Don't fucking speed on a sportbike on one of the busier streets in town and pay better attention to what the fuck you're doing. You can't tell me a 15-year-old chick in mommy and daddy's big, expensive shitbox is paying attention to traffic 100%. Sorry, not gonna buy it.

i do believe these are my main points of all my bitching, but yet no1 cares to believe anything besides it being the bikers fault 100%.

Do cops give tickets for friends, changing cd's, cell phones?no?
Then give it the fuck up, whatever she was doing, according to YOU, was not illegal.
Whatever he was doing, which is pretty much in all witness reports, is illegal.
Get it through your thick skull already. Enough with this driving defensively. If youre going to drive like a jackass and a hot shot, take it out to the country road. Not Fargos busiest street in the middle of rush hour.
