I had a crazy thought today... I feel for the most part everybody enjoyed p10 alot this year being it was at the fargo dome and all. But Ground Assault this year especially Tony and Nick went to 4 HIN's 1 being a Night Shift in Chicago, which they said and along with many other HIN competitors that NightShift is far better than the regualar HIN, not saying that HIN is bad just the NS has a better atmosphere; so this is just kind of a feeler I'm putting up for FS members to talk about and for Jason and Shane to maybe look at and consider there options. If next year p10 was outside say at the Dome parking lot or maybe at the fair grounds in WF. Have it go 5-12 just like always. I feel it would be just as fun if not more fun than this year, you could have events going on idk say Public Nuisance have a stunt show or something along the lines of that where you can break up the monotny of the show, which everyone including myself agree that car shows are fun but there is usually nothing to do. idk having it outside just opens up so many more options than having it inside, weather permitting of course. Also for Tintmasters it would be alot more cost saving I feel, idk what is all into renting out a facility like the dome but damn its gotta be alot cheaper for the parking lot. You can still get lighting but you won't need as many obviously since in the summer it stays light out until like 10 plus the dome already has lighting through out the parking lot.

Idk let me know what you all think i feel it would be something fun to try.

sounds like a good idea but arent almost all of the car shows that happen in the area outside? also i am assuming if its outdoors there would be no fee to go to the show.

Its a good idea in theory, i think it would be sweet to have it outside. The only problem would be that you would have to hope that the weather conditions were almost perfect. Rain, wind, temperatures all these things are gonna be factors. having a stunt show is a great idea, also the fact that your outside means that people would be able to start their cars, i wouldn't mind hearing some of those beasts rev :icon_geek:

why would you assume that? At the HIN nightshifts you still have to pay. Simply charge admission.

I'm down for this. Sounds like fun.

For some reason i see that being a bad idea......and a ridiculous insurance risk.

i can see good and bad haoening from this, but i think its a great idea.

public nussiance (i know, i cant spell) doing a stunt show...at the show, would be sweet. they are making a name for themselves all over these days. it would also be sweet to see something like a wet t-shirt contest, or other contests like that.

but i can see where people might think that they have free roam around the cars. I would hate to see something happen to anybodys car at the show. also keep in mind the dust at the fair grounds+how windy fargo can get. i know i would want to see dust/dirt/sand blown on these cars...after the owners spent countless hours getting them in the pristine condition they need to be in.

                its a toss up.

just thinking that sense there is no real enclosed outdoor areas in the area, so i was thinking it would be hard to charge admission unless a fence was put up around the area the car show was being held.

the only complete outdoor closed in area would be the WF fairgrounds but i'm unsure of their parking lot surface...also even though it would be spendy i would think that orange plastic fencing would be less expensive than renting out the dome...thats what i was thinking at least

and you can reuse/rent, that fencing if need be in the future

As for the charging admission why couldn't they just do the same thing ribfest does every year? I don't think the people entering their cars would approve of having it at the fair grounds. Gravvel roads

if its indoors and its crappy out you can just touch everything up once you get your car inside. If the weather outside is crappy and rainy at an outdoor event, your kinda screwed lol

i feel you yea for sure have to consider the weather but if you are always planning on bad things happening, it will never work out...i say go it... a few years ago all the tm shows were outside and i believe they only got rain once so if you look at it tm has a pretty good track record for picking good days idk its a fifty fifty shot really yeah i would suck if it did rain but it would be awesome if it beautiful out like the past 5 years or so they have help their show.

i do feel that people will come to this show from out of town due to the fact that TM puts on the best all around car show in this region right next to HIN, thats why people will come because they want to be apart of the show, if it is advertised right it could get even bigger being inside because there will be more room for more cars endless options of different activites to have within reason
