As for your V45 there is not much you can do to get more power out of them. You really do not want to run that engine all that hard either because they are known for wearing cam chain tensioners and cam chain guides… So if it rattles on deceleration and idle that’s the problem… Also they did not line bored the cam journals on the 1983 and earlier v45 heads, so they eat up cams and cam journals over time. Just ride it and enjoy the fact you have a motorcycle to ride.ah shit dude i didn't see you said cam chain tensioners i thought you said the cams and the chain tensioners lol my bad
