serious? my gn made well into the 600s on pump gas all the time. And using simple math and dragstrip calculators put it in the 700hp area, and i never even turned it up at the strip. Now my T/A will make quite a bit more than 700hp, hopefully it will hook

Oh I see. Have any dyno sheets on the GN. Why wouldn't you turn it up at the strip? I'm just asking isn't that the point of going out there, to see what it can run?

everytime i went to the strip i was just out for a cruise and didnt want to break it. In fact ususally i didnt even have my scanner with and i just made some big change. I upped it to about 12psi in brainerd once but it was so damn hot out i didnt even want to run it, did 11.7@128 leaving off idle on my 1700 stall converter, 2.3 60'. When i ran 11.4@119 in sabin i was at 7-8psi and there was a 35mph headwind, 1.7x 60', it sucked that day

Bring the T.A prepared this year and let's see what it can do. I'm interested what a 700 hp car can do. Your talking flywheel hp right? Not trying to be a dick just dosen't add up to me and I'm not a rookie at this shit.

you bet, i plan on coming out this year a couple times, being its a stick and i dont wanna destroy the trans i dont expect it to be terribly fast. but all i have to do is idle down the track and get a timeslip to be faster than parker, so thats a plus!

Why even go then. Sounds like a waste of time to me. Let it rip and break some shit if you have to. Weed out the weak parts, come back stronger next time.

I guess cause i like to drive my car all the time, and not have it sitting there all busted to shit. I really could care less what it runs i just like to go because its fun. Aside from that i dont have a bar in it and will get booted out anyway, which would be a waste of money. It will get a bar then it will get pushed, in time

Meh...I am what I am. judge me when you meet me, and if you need a cold one on a hot day I am probably the best bet at the track. 🙂 Welds... I have seen beautiful welds fail when ugly welds have held. Bill, I seriously give you a lot of credit for what you are doing and the speed that you are doing it. Even though I rib Matt, Dave and Bill, I have the utmost respect for what they have accomplished at a track where a lot of 10.5 warriors would have said hell no.
