Why lighten the barrel? We've had 20" comp hbars and also 16" regular barrels, the comp hbar was so much nicer to shoot, but then again i'm used to shooting target rifles... That and the thinner barrel one was rediculously hot after firing a couple shots..

When the zombies attack, and you are shooting flyers every other round because your barrel is too hot, you will be sorry!im posted up on the top of my apartment building with a nice heavy door. I'll pick em off like the gun store guy in Dawn of the Dead

im used to shooting an M4 and M16, they are a full pound lighter than this thing. Im a puss what can i say? And i dont shoot much so the heat issue doesnt really apply.yeah but the heavy barrel is nice cause with mine i can shoot off half a mag in a couple of seconds and still touch the barrel without getting burnt
