Maybe try a few larger pawn shops, I think my boss said he saw some there, too.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

              .308s are cheap enough.

agreed, i much prefer the .308, also the fact i put a good 5-6000 .223s out of my M16, M4, and M249 SAW that i wanted something different. And .308 AR10 for deer hunting is FTW

Why lighten the barrel? We've had 20" comp hbars and also 16" regular barrels, the comp hbar was so much nicer to shoot, but then again i'm used to shooting target rifles... That and the thinner barrel one was rediculously hot after firing a couple shots..

im used to shooting an M4 and M16, they are a full pound lighter than this thing. Im a puss what can i say? And i dont shoot much so the heat issue doesnt really apply.

When the zombies attack, and you are shooting flyers every other round because your barrel is too hot, you will be sorry!

yeah but the heavy barrel is nice cause with mine i can shoot off half a mag in a couple of seconds and still touch the barrel without getting burnt
