fyi, it is perfectly legal to call 911 in non-emergency situations. i have no idea what any of the local phone numbers are because not needing to know them is the whole point of 911.
call 911, and when the operator picks up say "this is a non emergency call". if they are busy they'll put you on hold. when they are ready to talk explain what you are seeing, and suggest that you'd like to talk to the police. simple as that. Street racing in town may very well constitute an emergency to the local PD... it all depends on what else they're dealing with at the moment.
i call 911 a few times every winter as i am driving back and forth between minneapolis and fargo. There's always someone in the ditch or the median on I-94 with their hazards on. I call that in everytime it looks like they don't already have help. Getting stranded on 94 in the winter can be fatal...I can't stop to help but I make sure I call it in so that an officer can.

I know him. He's a good friend of mine. Yes he goes to north, which would explain him turning in there. (sort of) But usually he doesnt drive like an "asshat". He is way to conservative to do sumthin like that. well at least i think he is, but i know for a fact he lets his friends drive alot and they tend to drive like "asshats". one kid in particular who even got pulled over on a cruise one night for running a light.

It was my car and i was driving slow because the person behind me did the same to me. i knew them and then they tried passing me so i spead up but i was probably going 35-40 before we slowed down to go into the parking lot. So maybe it was dumb to speed up but its not like i was racing up and down the roads. There are alot of people that do dumb stuff and there is a hell of alot of worse things. Thanks for the insight but making threats is pretty dumb as well. I understand your concerned with peoples safety but chill out. you can't say you've never played around with your friends and never gone faster than the speed limit. I know how to drive. Unless you are perfect then i would stop freaking out cuz there is other complete dumbasses out there.

whatever , i wasn't the person driving on the wrong side of the road and its not like i was doing 80 in a residential like some people so chill out. Many people get tickets for speeding in town and i rarely speed in town and i've never gotten a ticket. So i hope calling me an idiot makes you feel better about yourself.

35-40 is complete bullshit. you were pullin 50 pretty easy. Which if you "know how to drive" would realize that this is double the speed limit. Which then you would realize that could classify as a felony (you did have a passanger so it would be endangerment to that person's life).

Not to be a dick or anything but from the sounds of it, it was late outside. so there shouldnt be any kids playing out in the street anyway, and if there is the parents arent doing thier job. you can bring up "there couldve been children" " what if a kid was there" "what if this/that happened" in any situation. if you think about it, there can be kids anywhere at anytime. there wasnt any kids, no one got hurt so whats the big deal. i drive like a dumbass once in awhile, ill admit it, and i know damn well people on here have seen me do it and havent said a thing to me.
As for you Link and your "promises", if you actually intend on doing anything to him or his car, you can expect something to be done back. So if you dont want this to turn into a never ending shit show i would let this one slide bud. Not saying im gunna be doing anything, but if i have to get brought into it i wont mind backing a friend up.

The way i see it, if your gunna start a thread about this you better be posting a new thread everyday about something stupid that happened on the road. Why not ask who it was that switched lanes without using a blinker? thats illegal isnt it? how bout rolling through stop signs? cutting through parking lots to avoid lights? accelerating excessively? squealing tires? loud music? loud exhaust?
Thurmanmerman, i bet 85%+ of the poeple on here have a loud exhaust on their cars, so why complain about his? If you complain about his exhaust you should be chewing out everyone that owns a STi with STOCK exhaust, cuz thats whats on his car. I know for a fact my car is loud,i can turn my car on, let it sit in the driveway, go downstairs, turn the tv on, and still hear my car just idle there and 600 rpms. its a subaru, they all have that deep distinct rumble sound they make.
i guess im just trying to say, if chew out one person for doing something you better be getting on everyones case for doing the same thing.
