Apartments - what's good these days?
-
Check pricing over at Park Avenue, the building is probably 15 years old but tetter than anything they are building now and still looks good. You can probably get a 1 bedroom at a decent price that would have and underground spot then for about $40 a month have a one stall gagrage or another underground spot. Besides there I don't know if any 1 bedrooms would have the option of a two stall garage.
I won't tell you which apartments I moved too from avp, don't need no ricers here:icon_rr:

Either way, I know they are pretty spendy. (both very nice though - looked at those when I moved to Fargo)
Amber Crossing has 2 stalls for everything but they don't have a 1 bedroom opening up in the foreseeable future. The PRG Apartments in Osgood have a 2 stall for everything but I'm on hold right now with moving that far south - gets to be a long trip coming from downtown at 5pm to Osgood and then back up to the Fargodome. Haven't ruled that option out yet though.
I'm also inquiring into Woodstone - the new ones by Valley Rental over between 42nd and 45th north of 32nd.I ain't no damned ricer either. shakefist
PM me the location. eek

haven't decided yet how I feel about underground though either. Might be nice over the winter though.I don't know why more places don't have underground parking. Aside from the obvious benefits of space saving and not having to plow around garages, it makes life a LOT easier when it comes to additions or improvements on the buildings. Slab on grade FTL

Slab on grade FTLbecause for the added expense you could afford to put up another six to eight units?
besides, you cant just dig a 20ft deep hole in this area wherever you want and expect it to stay dry all year round.
building something heavy on a lake bed of clay with a shallow water table FTL
dubbsy i dont know what you are hoping to spend but my little sister used to live in the apts off 45th by those baseball fields and she had a two bed two stall garage for 650ish. i know she had a washer dryer and free basic cable but im not sure if that was just a gimmick to fill the place or not.

I was told those are now around the $800 range. The building closest to 45th st is built crooked and will likely be gone in the next like 5-10 years, unless it collapses on itself.well there are the 5 or so buildings north, and 2 or 3 south? The ones north - last I read were around $650ish for 1 bedroom. The ones south looked more expensive.
I've got an email in for some of those over there... I guess we shall see.
