i usually end up going to Indian creek near mobridge sd, that maybe be a little bit further than what you want to drive, but they have GREAT walleye fishing and you can get in easily if you have a motor coach, we maneuver just fine with our 42ft Monaco Diplomat.

if you want a small weekend, glendalo (not sure of spelling) state park by battle lake is nice and pretty cheap and easy to get into. it's alittle over an hour out of fargo down I-94
