Gary, wheels are gonna be a fucker to get. I had an 83 and the bolt pattern is very odd (4X110). BTW, sweet car. I miss mine.

from what i was reading, 4x108 ford wheels work with just a touch of a grinder, so thats how that will work, someday. gonna rock out the 13" bling for awhile. It has 127k, motor is a mazda crate that was put in @103k miles.

took out the spare and jack yesterday, and down to 1/4 tank of fuel (about 4 gallons) and it was 2320lbs, exactly 100lbs lighter already.
                                          1300 front, 1020 rear--56%/44%
and 2500lbs with me in it
                                          1380 front, 1120 rear--55%/45%

Now need to remove the smog stuff and lose 20lbs off the nose, and relocate the battery (and smaller one) and drop another 15lbs and put it right on the rear axle. That will bring it to the 2275 area and close to 50-50
