I'd have to agree, the welding/cuts look really bad ass.

Why didnt you just buy a 180 bend, cut it, trim it, rotate it and weld it once instead of 11 pie cuts? I have 3, 3.5 and 4 in ss sitting in the garage. It may be a good idea to grind all that sugar out of the tube before it breaks off. Other than that good job.

This pic is going to end up on a fail poster.

Either way, like everyone else, I'd be worried about those welds holding up in the long run... lot of potential for failure there.

The manifold is pretty damn nice, who made it, or where'd it come from? Don't see those "T"s used too often, love the minimum number of welds that requires.

So, is that 33.33 per wheel?
Whats it make to the rears?

Ok for one that is a 2.5" dp, and i can tell you have never worked in a confined space. the "pie" cuts allow for an infinite bend radius. pretty much what ever i feel is needed. there is no other way to accomplish what we had to do here using a mandrel bend. plain and simple.

also how would "suger" break off in the downpipe effect anything at all? it's in the downpipe.

Now onto you saying that was fail. I'm all ears to how you would build that downpipe with the same radius using a u bend. not going to happen again.

well I'm not to worried about it, there is very minimal stress on the downpipe unless your banging it off the ground (will :icon_shaking:)....

The manifold is sch 10 but the T's come with the straight section out of sch 40 for some reason.

Yeah right. I dont know shit about building cars. I will put a grand that says I can make a better downtube for that car than your 11 pie cut pile of junk. Put your money where your pie cut hole is.
