Hey guys. Been lurking for awhile, decided to sign up and post finally. I'm originally from Minot where I got myself into too much trouble, so now I'm here in Fargo. (When every cop recognizes you and even knows your middle name without looking it up, it's time to move.)
I just got myself a new Si after much debating - toss up between SS and Mazdaspeed 3 - but got the best deal on the Civic.
Barely owned the car for a month and it's pretty well modded out, so I'm sure I'll see you guys around. Won't be doing any track fun until I have proper rubber, so I'll see you serious guys out on the track next summer.
And I'm going to go ahead and make a pre-apology for how ungodly loud the car is, but I bit the bullet for performance reasons.

And it was small power difference (from other exhausts), but the Skunk2 70mm exhaust has been "suggested" as the best performance exhaust (before boost)...In most cases, yes, things get loud when performance is considered the only factor. If I could have the same performance with the stock sound, I'd go for it. I don't like the fact you can hear the damn car from 10 blocks away.
Here's my approach to the car: I've spent time screwing around with boost, messing around with V8s, and now I'm playing with a Honda. I like to consider myself "well-rounded" in the automotive field, and I figure the best way to do that is own a car from every car category. Next car for sure will be some type of AWD beast, just not sure what yet. But that's a couple years away
