Does anybody know anything about these BMX rims

Ya, they are worth a lil bit. That's if you can find the right buyer. If they are crack free and in good shape. they used to be worth about 100.00 each. Maybe more for the rear. You may want to look at the casting and see if it says motomag or motomag II. Most were alloy but there were also a magnesium version of the original motomag as well. Those are uber rare.
Here's a current listing for them. http://www.smithgrind.com/view/motomag.htm

thanks for the info wes they are motomag II but i think they are made of magnesium they are just to heavy to be aluminum:)

see if a magnet sticks to it. actually i dont know if magnesium is ferrous or not

no a magnet wont stick to either. but if you have a bare spot that wont be seen (like under the inside of the tire) scratch the surface with a file to remove any oxidation and pour some vinegar on it if its magnesium it will bubble alot if it doesnt do anything its aluminum
