      Ya, they are worth a lil bit. That's if you can find the right buyer. If they are crack free and in good shape. they used to be worth about 100.00 each. Maybe more for the rear. You may want to look at the casting and see if it says motomag or motomag II. Most were alloy but there were also a magnesium version of the original motomag as well. Those are uber rare.

          thanks for the info wes they are motomag II but i think they are made of magnesium they are just to heavy to be aluminum:)

            iirc magnesium is lighter than aluminum.

                    Pretty sure a magnet won't stick to either. Doesn't magnesium burn really hot white? Could try lighting them on fire lol

                      no a magnet wont stick to either. but if you have a bare spot that wont be seen (like under the inside of the tire) scratch the surface with a file to remove any oxidation and pour some vinegar on it if its magnesium it will bubble alot if it doesnt do anything its aluminum

                                They <u>never</u> made the Motomag II's in magnesium. And don deface any part of them if you expect to try and sell them.

                                      That much aluminum isnt gonna be light. Compare that to the Skyway mags on my bike. Night and day difference.
