a leakdown test who uses those? just playin u use for rings valves and can use them for head gaskets but it hardly ever can point out a bad head gasket due to the fact head gaskets usually leak when they r warm and if it were a cold enigine that u were able to find the leak using the test u wasted ur time due to the fact the car will probably run like shit and u would have pulled the plugs out to look for coolant in the cylinder instead of wasting ur time leak testing, rings are pretty easy u will hear air out of the intake ( intake valves), or out of the exhaust (exhaust valves), rings.... shit just listen to the dipstick. by the way chargin for this shit will help the crack funded rides so donations r welcome...

seriously though a half inch is a joke but i was wondering if there is a trusted shop in town to re-sleeve a b18 block or even if i could find one for the rigth price already sleeved so i can run monser boooooost (thats the only way hondas will really ever b fast right?)

damn dick i moved hear from florida and personally know m&j is shit and u must have missed the word reputable as in u might know someone who has used them for the application i was talkin about. so i guess u delslow would not know since u build cars from a phonebook?
-
no tryin to b harsh but were is everyone in town getting there machine work done
-
I don't think i would let anyone in fargo sleeve a block, send it to someone that does it every single day.
-
I would imagine M&J's would be your best shot? Quailty is pretty good too. Iv dropped off some parts and a head at Quality before and had it all ready, in like 2 days.
I have been with someone, Torbs, who dropped a head off at M&J's to get cleaned and what not and it was ready later that afternoon.
Guess it just depends on the day/condition/what you are having done.
-
I would never trust m&j with sleeving a block. And i highly doubt theyd even do it. Send it away.
-
i c just wondering if anyone around town works with import "stuff" i know they will all do oem stock rebuilds but m&j for real???? the have a rough time with a 350 hahaha guess ill just look for a block already sleeved for awhile
