a leakdown test who uses those? just playin u use for rings valves and can use them for head gaskets but it hardly ever can point out a bad head gasket due to the fact head gaskets usually leak when they r warm and if it were a cold enigine that u were able to find the leak using the test u wasted ur time due to the fact the car will probably run like shit and u would have pulled the plugs out to look for coolant in the cylinder instead of wasting ur time leak testing, rings are pretty easy u will hear air out of the intake ( intake valves), or out of the exhaust (exhaust valves), rings.... shit just listen to the dipstick. by the way chargin for this shit will help the crack funded rides so donations r welcome...

You'd think a tech would know of some machine shops around town...

                        Quality / M&J....open a phone book?

                        They are all pretty decent.

I would imagine M&J's would be your best shot? Quailty is pretty good too. Iv dropped off some parts and a head at Quality before and had it all ready, in like 2 days.

I have been with someone, Torbs, who dropped a head off at M&J's to get cleaned and what not and it was ready later that afternoon.

Guess it just depends on the day/condition/what you are having done.

I would never trust m&j with sleeving a block. And i highly doubt theyd even do it. Send it away.
