Not trying to insult anyone but a bud of mine has a full dress 89 firebird w/vortec heads on a 400 that is consistent 13flat in the quarter. That tank weighs 3800 lbs. There aint no trickery in what he did to his car either. Nova, sounds like you need more than just gears. Sounds like a little tuning is in order. Like I said, I'm not trying to piss anyone off so don't take it the wrong way nova. But if you do have vortec's on that puppy, you should be ahellova lot faster than that.
