She downloaded a pretty nasty virus so i just reformatted her hardrive and i have the OS for my Dell laptop which is vista home premium so i just used that and the product key from my old laptop. But vista needs 1 gig to atleast run ok and with my card she has like a total of 767 i think. and its pretty slow...

Can i run pc2-2100 and the 4200 at the same time? her motherboard has 4 spots for ram.

If the 4200 will work i will take um... cuz 2 gigs would speed it up a bit haha. But would i see all of thoughs 2 gigs?

are you sure it's ddr2 and pc2100? i find it nearly impossible to believe that such slow speeds would be ddr2. i think we need to get some straight information, first.

I didn't really think it was either, but apparently the very first model of DDR2 was pc2-400.

Hey...Its been awhile but i finaly had time to take a look at it...I takes DDR PC-2100. So does anyone have some laying around they would be willing to get rid of for a little bit of cash?...Idk if it matters but i am running one with a Clocking time of 2 and one of 2.5.
