Call Bruce Quick at the Logel Law Firm, went to school with his kids and is a close family friend, he knows his shit (and teaches Political Science at NDSU). He'll get you out of it. No doubt in my mind. Doubt it will even go to court if he is involved.I will do that.. My step mother who carries a law degree is going to make a few calls. She mentioned that the case probably wont even see the light of day....

Many police officers don't know the law and waste the court's time. It will just be a hassle making a court appearance. The alleged citation was not even in NDSU police jurisdiction.. This is so much bs. I can promise you she will show if she gets a chance though! not like they do anything but hand out minors on weekends.....

He has no proof. Innocent until proven guilty. You do not have to prove your innocence, the court has to prove your guilt. His word is not enough proof, and the dumb cop should have known that, but it was a campus cop.She was pretty humorous in her delivery of the mans claim. She thought she was tough.

Just imagine being half asleep with a shirt hardly just tossed on looking at a 4'11" fat female cop- "DO YOU HAVE YOUR KEYS?!?!?!" Lol... now imagine trying to take something like that serious.

lol, some people think that when they clip that badge on that they are just the king of the world.

So that white BMW that drove by me 10 minutes ago was you?
As for the campus police, they are Fargo PD as well...they have just as much jurisdiction off campus as they do on, as do Fargo PD.
The ticket...nothing will come of it more than likely. I'd get your female friends involved because when it is 4 against 1, this will not go down in old farts favor. Will it see the courtroom? Knowing how stupid the system is I could see that happening. Will you be found guilty? I HIGHLY doubt it.

WOW...seems to me like alot of you people have NEVER been to court...
"innocent until proven guilty" my ass.....IF this does go to court, and the guy who turned you in shows up for court, your screwed. But i dont think it will, some lady called the cops on me for passing her at a high rate of speed on the i-state and she then proceeded to follow me to my house to tell me she called the cops on me, so i called the cops myself, they came and talked to me and said that nothing would come of it.
But like i said, if this does go to court, and the guy who turned you in shows up, you will LOSE, unless you have a lawyer, but who actually hires a lawyer to get out of a traffic violation?

99% of cases where the cop wasnt there to witness the act wont hold up. Just say the old guy was tailgating you and you were tryin to get away from him. then he proceded to fallow you and cause a disturbance in a public area. then its your word against his too. when he says you have no proof of that, you say "my story is just as true as yours" or sumthin like that

[QUOTE=Eurofan;306128] I headed back to the main campus with 3 other girls after the class down 10th street.[QUOTE]
you mean just three girls right, not 3 OTHER girls

If the person who turned him in shows up for court to testify, he's probably fucked, unless he has a lawyer. but why pay a lawyer $200-$500 for a $100 ticket..
