Out of curiousity, what have you done with the oil to test if it is good or not? Did you do some aggressive road course driving, followed up by some oil samples sent off to Blackstone or some place similar for analysis? If there is a cutting edge oil that I am not aware of, I would really like to know more! Fact is, you read all over the internet (when not stalking womenz), then follow follow follow what you read. You find something that will work and is CHEAP, and it is the next sliced bread.Don't get it twisted, I am not crying because you don't want to buy ENEOS. I really truly don't care, but you spout out a lot of info that rarely has any depth, and typically is carbon copied from a thread off one of 3-4 forums you frequent.
I'm with Jason on this one. He and I use different oils (he uses ENEOS and I am an AMSOIL person) but I agree with what he is getting at.
Good - Cheap - Oil....you can only have 2 of those options.

LOL. god i missed some epic posting last night. i may just ask jim to sticky this thread so once these two break up we can log another 12 pages.
LOL at me changing oil. id love to compare W2's sometime with either of you. what is the going wage for a volunteer car "model"? from what i understand youre "photos" dont really go anywhere but facebook OR some gentlemens spank bank, then even your freinds hate on you about it lol. i bet the tax i pay is bigger than your paychecks.
LOL also at me "losing" an amazing girl. she was amazing but im also grown up enough to know when somethings not working. i moved on and i have a girlfriend whom i treat like a queen. but i guess i can afford to do that cause im a big kid. and i dont have to do a bunch of faggy homo shit like draw hearts in the snow and buy quarter machine promise rings for.

Again, my point of my post was NOT crying about Faber not buying ENEOS or the stab at it with the "$10+" comment, but rather the fact that he continually posts info about things he typically has no first hand knowledge about... I'm better now
There is nothing wrong with eneos. In fact it is a great oil. I have used eneos before(engine and gear oils), and still use it in my tranny and diff in my WRX. When looking at synthetic gear oil, eneos is hands down the best choice(as long as it can be used in the application) not only in the quality of the oil, but also look at the pricing between eneos and Redline, Royal Purple, or others. I have swapped eneos into the transmissions of both of my WRX's and I have notice after which there was a noticeable improvement in the smoothness/ease of shifting. So, I guess I have some first hand knowledge when it comes to eneos.
Believe it or not, I do somewhere have a Blackstone analysis for oil that was in my car from when i first got the car. The car has running Pennzoil synthetic at the time. It came back with outstanding results. I have not even though about sending another batch in, let alone doing it for all the other brands of oil on the market. I'll admit it, I am a broke college kid and don't want to spend my money on it. I am sure someone, somewhere has done oil analysis of oil X vs. oil Y vs. oil Z.
I guess in my opinion probably 95% and maybe even of people will never notice the improvements or potential benefits of running one synthetic oil, over another. Unless there is a case of an oil that burns off quickly(Mobil 1). Even more so when most of our vehicles are daily drivers and will never see the hardcore abuse, minus a select few that frequently see track or racing use, where the extremely high quality oils will shine through in various ways. But, that is my opinion. Right now in my opinion is the Shell is an awesome oil for the cost(I will admit it, cost is a factor in the choice) and I have had very good results with it from what I can tell in both of my cars. I am also positive that there are thousands of others that are happy with the oil, just like there is for other brands of oils.
