Dave has a straight six. It has more torque than most v6's. (I think). Plus its TURBO. Imagine that. 😉

You CANNOT compare a ford v6 of any sort to the toyota 2jz engine. Not even the Yamaha made sho engines. There's absolutely no comparison.

ok for the record I CAN drive and gonzo had two more gears and a turbo over me so eat my balls lol.

As for the exhaust issue if it is a V6 i honestly wouldn't bother with exhaust though it might sound a little better it just wouldnt sound right. I say sell it and a get a real car....5.0 style 😄 but thats just my .02 cents.

I cant afford insurance on a V8 (7 tickets). I was debating between engine swap or supercharge the v6. I decided to stay V6 and will supercharge it. You dont see that many nice V6 mustangs around, so why not have one. I am not going for the fastest car in the world. Just faster. I am going to buy a 5.0 for Speed! maybe this summer If I can find one cheap

Instead of having one nice car, and one fast car, why don't you have one nice/fast car that will cost the same as both combined, but with cheaper insurence....

an Inline6 will make more torque than a V6...thats usually the advantage of the Inline6

Met a guy out at ISD with a beautiful G-body Monte Carlo that was laughing off the whole 305/350 argument. Said everyone always asked him why he didn't stick a 350 in the car and go from there.. Just a lil ole 305 with late model vortech heads and a set of long tubes (IIRC). Quicker than anyone had expected (I don't remember exact times, would have to see if I've got it written down in my stack of timeslips)
