i want some feedback from the community. ive narrowed my car search down to 3 cars: 2000 civic si, 1999 intergra gsr, or a 1998 prelude si. which one would be the best for starting to mod?

GSR all the way even though the Prelude has a bigger motor and all it is a big pig as far as weight goes.

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

                        Si or the GSR.

For the money you'd save over the prelude, you'd blow IT out of the water. Plus they look sexier.

Id say Si... if its lighter. Then boost it... The prelude is way to heavy to ever actually move down the track at a good speed unless you have a shit load of cash to drop in it. Stay with a light car and it will be lighter on your wallet if your poor and want to go fast.

Not for very long. Prelude = big heavy POS.

If you want a daily driver dont take a loan out... get some shit car for cheap... take good care of it and it will go on for a while... if it breaks and is expensive junk it. Id rather have a loan out for my summer/project car then a daily driving winter car.

you should make your nova a dd, and take out a loan on something worth modding aka not a pig. how much is that prelude?

I know you said you wanted a mustang, there is a 1997 Mustang Cobra at Imports plus for $8500 that is pretty nice.

i would say the gsr or si, the prellude looks nice, but they aren't going to be worth modding because they are heavy like everyone else is saying.
