I was planning on buying a Porsche 997.2 GT3(or a Turbo) but Nissan lured me back by increasing the horsepower in the new GT-R to 530bhp (from 485bhp), tweaked the suspension, and made launch control a real feature that doesn't void warranty. It's suppose to run a sub 3 second 0-60 and get to 100 in 7.IMO you made the right choice. Awesome car!

So was that your GT-R cruising down main the other day looking dirty as hell?

If it was, even in all the dirt and grime, it still caught my eye.

I have yet to see one of these in person, love the color though!

Launched the thing for the first time today. Its definitely quicker than my 2009 GT-R. I got a shitty launch due to traction difficulties and still ended up doing 0-60 in 3.2 seconds, 0-100 in 7.3 seconds. All dead stop accelerations(no rollout) measured by my Vbox. I then set it up for a 1 ft rollout and ran the quarter in [email protected]. Not bad.

Really? Is the quarter of a mile a different distance at a drag strip?
And are you doubting it can run in the low 11s at around 125?LOL, are you really arguing what I think you are arguing?
And yes there is a big difference between what something "can" run and what it does run
My Gtech says I run 8's on the street, awesome huh?

Well your Gtech is F'd up then. And it doesn't use GPS. My Vbox does. And yes it will run in the low 11s over and over and over again.
