ok well my cutout still hasn't got here but called DMH and they said it will be here tuesday

so i decided to finish it anyway and then splice the cutout in when it gets here

i made a plugged V band so i can plug it for now and do some testing open vs closed

turned out nice, car sounds like it means business for sure! love how i have the idle now too

turned to lock

I am very impressed with the DMH piece, quality for sure and a 4 year warranty...... obviously i voided that, lol

yes i did make another short vid with it now being functional, i am sorry if i post too many vids. I just feel obligated to now since i finally have a good connection!

the fans kick in and out during the vid and kinda goofs up the mic. It is very quiet now with the second muffler though

Yep, so you have helped me make up my mind. My next project will have a turbo L33 5.3 in it. Thing sounds great and should make some serious power to boot.

Looks like your not half bad with a MIG either. Im assuming thats MIG with the welder sittin by it.

that is a TIG machine, the cutout plumbing is aluminum so i TIG'd it

ok made an in-car vid

7psi and i have a 180lb passenger with me

get into it at about 30mph so i don't spin, hooked well, roads are warm

remember this is a powerglide, so only 2 gears

get out of it right before the limiter at 7k, (so ~150mph)

cutout is closed for this

my brakes don't look too happy after braking hard after multiple pulls, I don't think blue is normal, haha

been driving it alot to work and back lately, hasn't given me a hiccup yet

also, have the boost up to 13psi , very healthy now..... cant believe what each # of boost does on a setup like this

kind of sad i cannot hook in low on that much power on the street, but high gear is stupid..... i need a two stage boost controller

will be at the 23/34 TM event, been working on getting my safety equipment like harness, trans shield, ect done

from what ive seen Charlie saying on FB the stock/superstock guys were hooking good out there this weekend!!! so i cant wait to see this beast hook up and go down the track!!!!!
