            not to high jack this indepth conversation thats going on here. What do you use to powder coat? my uncle used to be a ford dealer so we have old stuff and thats what i'm into so i've been debating buying one

                old cars, like 60's stuff. I want to buy a powdercoating gun for restoration projects. I can't type as fast as i think.

                      eastwood hotcoat kit. Works great for what I do.

                        If you want a taste for powder coating without spending a lot of money you should hit up Harbor Freight, they sell a paint kit and powder that's pretty cheap, and then find a cheap/free oven to do small parts in.
                        You can get into some pretty spendy guns, $1000-$2000+, but it all depends on what level you want to take it to.

                        You could also try talking to the guys over at Diamond-Vogel on main, we used to get all our powder paint there, they might be able to point you in the right direction or at least to somebody that knows were to get guns in Fargo or Moorhead.

                          i was looking at the new eastwood dual voltage unit. I'm from out west so I go to estate auctions alot. already got a 5 dollar kitchen oven ready to roll. What have you powdercoated with your unit, brian? any pics?
