Some buddies of mine did it to a 4x4 ranger years ago. It was a cool concept but meh in all aspects of performance. Not enough usable torque for a 4x4. With all the different engine options out there that are readily available, I would opt for a different route than a 2.3 turbo. By the time you've made it perform decent and then building it to support such mods, you could have just as well swapped in something with more usable power. Cough (LSX) COUGH

dallas...he wasnt talking about a thunderchicken...he was talking about some people he knew that swapped in a 2.3 turbo (coulda been out of a thunderchicken as well?) into a 4x4 ranger, same concept as what you and your dad may do, hes just throwing a realistic situation at you.
sometimes its easier to just build the car that already has the engine in it btw...pulling engines and building them sucks...after all the money, blood, and sweat, oh and stress because it isnt working right! though it is definately worth it to see the hash and slash stitched together monster youve created, run great and be alive. you could just be in for more of a long haul than you are thinking...its definately more than using zip-ties to put on led's hahahahaha.

i thought he was saying just slapping on a turbo like you were doing when id rather have an engine built for it
and that thunderbirds would take both your cars anyday
hell i should upload the video of my 82 magna taking your nissan lol haha well sense my dad has done it before i am pretty sure we will have it done faster than you had yours done and we wont have to buy a second car to look at how we put our engine back together like you had too lol hey i had to put your leds on your caddy cause you needed help lol plus my dad wants the rest of the thunderbird for spare parts for his thunderbird so yeah and id rather not buy a bunch of parts to get that running when i already had a running ranger and i can keep driving my ranger while the engine for it will be overhauled by my dad and I. -

My head hurts from trying to comprehend all that fail.

How old are you?
Serious question btw.^This

I ask how old you are because its painfully obvious that first, you have no clue about what most cars are capable of (because daddy said this) and the fact that you are having daddy do all this for you. Sounds like your still on the titty. Your either very young, ignorant, or both. My money is on both.
