I gave a website: http://www.xbox-scene.com
You can read reviews and such there

i've been to that site and reading quite a bit, and thank you very much for that.
sorry if i came across as ungrateful, you have been a great help. i was just wondering if you had a suggestion for one as you seem to know quite a bit about this stuff and i just started w/ xbox's in the past week.

It just depends on how much money your looking to spend...
The Xecuter V. 3 is obviously the best one out right now, but its quite expensive: $59 + Shipping.
If you do not feel comfortable soldiering all of the little points, you need to add in $23 for a solderless adapter (Worth it in my opinion).
All in all, look to spend $100+ on it... is it worth it? I dunno...
Generally speaking, soft-mods are my prefered way of doing things, it requires more initial knowledge of how to do things, but its free (or close to it).

$100 plus isn't worth it to me
but i was looking at tsop-man.com at they have aladdin xt chips for 13.49 plus $4 shipping.i'll stick w/ soldering it in, but was wondering what you think about that chip?
thanks

How much this cost?
