maybe your injectors are clogged? does it ever feel laggy? perhaps there's a bottleneck in your fuel system? i'd run a couple of bottles of injector cleaner through and rod on it really aggressively for a few hours/days, make sure your new plugs are gapped properly. if that doesn't work, get it professionally checked out

I would bring it to the dealer to get it tuned. They are the only place i know of that can do it.

your car is mechanically stock, there is no tuning required. the only problems you have are more than likely hardware (unless there was some sort of malfunction with the ecu).

you need a tune UP, not a tune. Like they're saying, if your car is that close to stock...you've got problems outside of a tune.

I'll assume there's no CEL? weird that a car would be running that lean and have no CEL (or are civics like that?)

that exhaust cat back? ...or were you screwing with O2 sensors and cats?

Looks to me like spark plugs out of a relatively stock car.
My integra always had plugs that looked like that when it was stock.

As long as they're not speckled, you're fine.

I agree with integra....plugs look fine but maybe 1 heat range to hot....if there are no black specs then let it run....

no black specs, i dont need a tune up, if i need any thing, they need to adjust the injectors, i had a rich problem with my old car, they just plug into the ECU, and adjust the injectors.

I second the heat range idea. I would rather spend six bucks on new plugs then sixty taking it to the dealer only to find nothing is wrong.

Umm, since when can someone plug into your car and "adjust" your injectors? Is this something new? Never have I heard of such a thing unless you have some type of stand alone engine management or a modified ecu of some sort.

wow, where have you been, they have been able to do that since they started using fuel injection. How do you think they can do a tune up, they have to do it in a tune up depending on how its running. Go to a dealership and ask around.

i think what your talkin about is a scan tool you gave everyone the wrong perception of what you were talkin about im assuming...i dont think you can "adjust" the injectors...if you can wow i guess i learned somethin new but ive done pretty extensive work with scantools and never been taught that you can just "adjust" them...i know you can look and see the pulse width, fuel trim etc...keep in mind they used fuel injection back in the 50s and 60s in the corvette and prolly some other vehicles you might wanna watch your statement

At first I did it for fun, then I realized I made the investment and had to do it!

Haha. If you knew anything about Honda ecu's you would know that they cannot "adjust" your injectors at the dealership. But from what it seems you know everything about Hondas. Just because your car has fuel injection doesn't mean your car's "fuel injectors can be modified."

Tell me how the VW dealers adjust fuel injection settings on a car with mechanical fuel injection?

When you answer that let me know.

haha, i wasnt thinking straight, but the can adjust the pulse, at least on nissans. As long as its ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION. I was goin to get it done on my 300ZX right before i blew the motor, cause it was running supper rich. I know absolutely nothing about hondas. and its not a couple hundred dollar scan tool they use, its a few thousand dollar computer, i was goin to buy one of these for my 300ZX but i didnt have $6000.

If dealers were adjusting fuel tables across the entire rev range for both high and low throttle on cars without the use of the dyno or any ecu modifications, why do people switch to standalone engine managements? Damn those crazy dealers have some crazy stuff these days.

Having used a 5000+ dollar scan tool they're not that impressive for what they cost. They clear codes, read codes, and check sensors, but nowhere did I see any way to adjust ecu settings for any of the vehicles I used it on.
