I need a sub box for two twelve inch subs. Preferrably ported with 2.25-2.75 cubic feet per sub. Will consider sealed boxes with 1.5-2 cubic feet per sub as well. Cash or trade for sealed triple twelve inch box in mint condition.that is a HUGE box! 5 cu ft???

if you listen to a lot of rap thats the only way id say to get a ported box...if you listen to a lot of fast hittin shit like rock etc get a sealed...
Yup, I've used both. Had a ported enclosure for 4 years. I've had a sealed box since December and found that I prefer ported enclosures. -
the box is 14in deep X 38in. wide X 18in tall.
the ports are 12in. deep x 4in wide.

would you want it?>

well put it in the back seat!
-
and what kinda subs are you using?

haha....kid will get a free massage then!

haha well i think he's old enough to sit in the front seat......you should check the specs on them subs for the right size of ported box...if its to big for them...they wont sound to good.....you can always cut off some of the port to tune it.

Ported Enclosure Range: 1.75-2.75 cu.ft. (49.5-78.0 liters)

.If my measurements are correct a box that is 14 inches x 18 inches x 38 inches (externally) is 4.925 cubic feet. this is the volume of the outside of the box, not including the thickness of the mdf. So, at a guess, the internal volume of the box is 4.5....Divide that by 2(2 subs)=2.25 internal cubic feet per sub....right in the recommended range for ported box using the subs I have.

well perfect then! - im glad your good at math! haha
