I'm not a fan of ebay...seen way too many people get screwed. I'd pay full MSRP for a kit before I ordered an ebay one.

I have a ZEX Remote bottle opener and ZEX Purge Kit/w light that I bought awhile ago and never used. Also have an autometer C2 gauge.

Don't know if you want to buy a whole kit at once or pick up my stuff. Mine's on ebay right now so I can't assure they won't sell in the next 6 days. If you want em and can get money to me quickly I will remove the auctions from ebay. (Or if you have paypal you can just purchase my ebay auctions so I won't be charged the cancel fee, and I'd refund you the calculated shipping.)

What do you know anyway? Just kidding. What's the problem with zex anyway? I've heard bad things about NOS myself.

                    ugly purple bottle....j/k

quite a few of the guys on NASIOC have had horrible luck w/ them....like threads strip all the time, poor quality solenoids, things like that. Granted this was from about 2 years ago and things might have changed, I just don't wanna chance it.

Does Zex even make a wet kit?

Ya, they make a wet kit as well. It's funny how I heard the same things about the NOS solenoids. (cheaply made). I however have never heard ANYTHING bad about the NX kit. So, maybe it's the brand that you should get. It's entirely up to you.

We do a fair amount of zex... Ease of install, and they have been as reliable if not more than other brands. Yep they do have a wet and dry kit, and this kit that I have here is wet. Only problem I can see with a zex kit (stripping threads, etc..) is the 'home install junky', whom is more than likely clueless on tightening certain types of fittings. That complaint is one we have NEVER seen an issue with. As said previous, it is YOUR call, but I do think your views of zex are a bit harsh. Back when they first came out, they were kinda the stepchild in the nitrous industry, and were known to munch a motor here and there with the dry kit, but zex has came a long way since those days...

I was basing my opinions on GRD, Kingpin and Godspeed recommending that no one buy them (again...2 years ago, things may have changed.)

I admit, I had trouble with the fittings, and was clueless, but if you edjucate yourself, it is VERY simple. I have never heard any complaints against ZEX or NX. I see them as equal, with zex having more of a complete package and NX leaving you to peice it together a little more.

Just to clarify, I am not in the market for N2O this year anymore. Kinda got tired of dragracing and am currently working on the exterior of my car to get it to the point were I really like it. It's getting close, but still a ways off. I wouldn't expect too many 1/4 mile passes from me this year, if any at all.
