why do you say you blew your motor if you don't know what happened.... what are the symptoms. what exactly went down.

well i was driving down uni and my car started to die for no reason, so i tried to start it again and it did the same thing. so i pulled over and the car sounded like it overheated, but it didn't so i tryed to start it again and it died right away. and a friend of mine said it sounded like it had seized>

well find out.... stick a ratchet on the cranky pulley, and see if it'll turn....

it could also have been some valve train shit that went bad. That happened on my Z. I was cruisin by best buy, and all the sudden it died, but there was metal on metal grinding too. I pull over, open the hood, and the main seal/bearing had also failed and the crank dropped. lots of smoke from oil getting on hot stuff.

sounds like you blew a seal or somethign....is there oil everywhere???.......probably seizing.

Sorry but these motors just don't blow themselves up. Honda makes some of the most reliable motors out there, and there's a very slim chance that it just took a shit for no reason. Was it full of oil? What did you do prior to it dieing and shit?

it had oil in it, and there was a lifter or two that was loose, so i'm not too sure what it was.
